Mentor Responsibilities

  • Help the novice get car ready
  • Help novices through the tech and registration process
  • Help with the course walk, explain the obstacles and cones
  • Make sure you and your novices can ride together.
    • May need to make arrangements with timing and registration.
  • Help them drive the course with finishing with a time as a priority
  • Work with novice at their work assignment and show them what their responsibilities are.
    • Make sure they know they need to be prompt, present, and on point. Please explain that we do this, because we are a team, someone worked for them.
  • Make them feel welcome, and make sure they have a good day.
